[And when Akechi pulls close he closes the distance, all teeth and pressure. He knows Akechi is in the mood for rough. might never BE in the mood for soft. That was okay, he has a taste for blood now too]

[He lets out a small satisfied moan, almost being guided by instincts rather than anything else. There's some blood on his tongue, either Akira's or his own, he's not sure. The coppery taste makes him greedy as he kisses him more passionately.

They'd kiss many times like this before, but either it was due to their talk or just bubbling feelings that had been building for months that made him know his rival was right.

They both needed more now. The cravings of danger that strove both of them into a race. The wings behind him push both their hips together.]

[he grunts softly as Akechi's wings drag him in, but makes no move to pull away. His own flair a bit in surprise, but then settle around as well, flexing and shivering along the delicate bones and webbing.

He knows he SHOULD be embarrassed by how obviously worked up he's getting. But like all the other cravings Ryslig brought out of him, his demonic nature just urges embracing the feeling. Shameless and wild. He breaks the kiss for a moment, wiping the blood from his busted lip along it with a thumb and smearing it like lipstick]

H... ha...

[words. Words, come on think of something clever- he can't, reverting to his fallback of silence. Hoping his lidded eyes and bright flush will express everything he feels]

[Oh gods, this is a mixture of deep want and slight embarrassment. It's hard not to just completely give in when Akira makes that face, and as much as he wants to just push into it, weirdly enough Akechi's old ability gives him just enough self-conscious to know that if they keep up, this is going to get really dirty, really fast. He doesn't want to stop but he has to put on the breaks for a few seconds. When he speaks, his entire mouth looks like it's smoking, like he can't turn it off.]

We need to get out. Otherwise we'll set this place on fire.

[Literally. Figuratively. Take your pick, Akira.]

[he didn't even notice the heat and smoke until Akechi points it out. Without thinking:]

[... okay, no they can't do that. They need the apartment and Mr. Oskarr doesn't deserve TWO building fires this year. Still, his tail wiggles at the thought, and he can't help smirking]

[The way he says the word, it seems to be a combination of annoyance and endearment.]

Teleport us to the roof. We'll fly to the beach. Actually...bring what you need.

[The smoke comes out of his ears at those words like, what it means and implies.]

[Oh he definitely picks up the implication, and turns bright pink, his elfen ears perking. Oh. oh.]

[He wiggles away from their tangle of wings and trots off to his room with an nervous but somehow giddy energy]

[Even if Akira is back fast as he promised, to Akechi it will still feel like an eternity of confusion. Is he really? Going to do this? Why is is brain all okay with it? Can he trust Akira not to make a joke of it?

He doesn't know. He's not sure he wantsto know. It's like fighting against the unknown, and he's realizing very quickly, comes with its own thrill. He just wishes he knew what was...needed so he didn't have to rely on his rival.

Tch.

The only thing he does manage to get once Akira does come back is a bath towel in one hand, large enough for both of them to be down on. The last thing he'd want is sand everywhere.]

[ it takes longer than is likely comfortable for poor Akechi. He can probably hear Akira's hooves clattering around for a bit before it goes quiet for a few minutes...

.. then he FINALLY comes back, a satchel over his back. The benefit of low set wings: you can still wear things on the shoulders, unlike a lot of winged monsters. He nods in approval at the towel.

Depending on how attentive Akechi is to the smallest change on Akira though he might just notice that he. Well.

[Oh he notices really quickly with how Akira fiddles with his hands. The Satchel he can only imagine. Does it need...that much?...]

[Trim his nails, that is...]

[Funny how a few minutes ago they just wanted to be close but now it's a big backward to get closer to him so he can teleport them to the rooftop.]

[Look, he's seen how much Ren would prepare for Palaces and Mementos- maybe it's not surprising that Akira is the same! Better to bring more things then they need than not enough.]

Don't worry about it- no matter how we... end up doing this only one of us has to have, you know, no knives on the hands.

[He wiggles his fingers, still bright pink with embarrassment. He's not sure he could stand it if Akechi asked him how he knows this]

Okay, hold on-

[He cranes his head out the window so he can see the edge of the roof, and-

-fwoof! In a burst of flames they are above the rooftoop, Akira spreading his wings to ease the slightly heavy landing]

[Okay, this is true, internal narrator. Somehow Akechi expected differently for this. And yet, so very much like him.]

...I see.

[It's okay they can both be embarrassed and stupid today. As he's about to say something more Akechi like and insulting suddenly they are on the roof.]

Alright. Let's go.

[Before he has a reconsideration. The wind picks up violently and nearly flings them into the air way higher than the calculated trajectory to the nearest beach.]

[Akira squawks slightly at the sudden wind, flapping his wings in a bit of a panic before he evens out.

Shit. Was Akechi getting pissed? Second guessing this? He frowns softly, coasting along to get as close as he can without the risk of their wings clipping and sending one or both of them to the ground. He has to yell over the wind]

...you okay?

I'm fine, dammit!

[He yells back, his face still looking rather red. See? He's fine. He'd probably whisk them back home if he really wasn't sure. The wind actually starts to speed up as they swooshed in the air and they move towards their destination. It's going to be a rough landing, but nothing two monsters can't survive.]

[ah. The speeding up answers that question. Eager? Or at least set enough on this to not even consider backing out. It makes Akira smirk.

Though the smirk drops when they land. Hard. He's been flying for a lot less time then Akechi, after all! So he fumbles and eats sand]

[Akechi isn't quite as so lucky to fumble, what with the wind suddenly stopping so he doesn't overuse his powers to the point that he'd be more hungry than do anything else, so he lands violently backwards as the spikes on his elbows and the horns on his face manage to slow and cushion his fall. Somewhat.

But now he's stuck with his feet in the air for a few brief seconds. If Akira manages to see him, he'll loudly curse before pushing himself out.]

[He only sees the last few moments before Akechi gets up, spitting sand out as he does the same.

... he manages to not laugh. it's a hard thing, but he knows Akechi would Not Appreciate It.]

I think we broke a flight record.

[Oh good, Akira didn't notice (he thinks, or at least wants to think). He dusts off the sand from his outfit. Which, well, looks a little worse for wear. Urgh. He'd need t bring it to the cleaners.]

I believe I was faster getting home.

[Ahh yes. A competition. Always. Forever.]

Hmmm... maybe. But it's for the same thing, right?

[the awkward prep and the flight cooled him down a little, but not completely. So his voice purrs as he walks over, tail swishing. All this rushing really IS flattering]

[Akechi is still just the type to be completely alienish to what is about to happen. The flame still burns inside of him, but using those powers has lowered it's...potency for now. Enough that while seeing Akira walking towards him is rather tempting, he also carefully looks around to make sure they are...alone.

Then he slams a clawed foot into the ground, the sand and mud moving around until it forms some sort of basic walled structure.

Luxury, Akira.

He won't make out in the open air like some sort of low-life exhibitionist.]

[he whistles, impressed]

Whoa... you're gonna be starving later, you know.

[A double meaning, if there ever was one. Should they quickly look around for a poor victim or wait until later.]

[Logic says they should absolutely hunt. Good sense.

[He hesitates for a second before laughing. Clearly amused.]

No, I don't think I'd like seeing you shrivel right in front of me.

[That makes him grin, and he reaches out to dust some of the sand off Akechi's spikes, fingers lingering a bit]

You know... if you want to hunt right now we can. We don't even have to do anything else. I WANT to- I want you to know that. But it's not... imperative.

... though I gotta admit, the idea of fooling around while you're a little hunger-feral isn't a BAD look.

[A little smoke curls out of his nose, some of that excitement flaring up again. Still, this is important to state outright.]
